Hey,
Im new here. I just picked up my 83 v-20 and Im hoping to get it up and running this summer on Lake Erie. I have a feeling this boat will handle well on those unpredictable waters. This looks like a great site, hopefully I could get some help with finding some of the parts that are missing or broken. My side gunwale rodholder boxes are in horrible shape. Ive noticed that a few members make replacements. Can somebody help a new member out?

Congrats on the V purchase.
Quickest way to get a responce is to post pictures of the baby and specific locations of interest. These boats have gone through moderate improvements or changes from year to year.
Also add to your signature the boat, motor info and your location. It will be easier to diagnose knowing that stuff during the thread responce.
And you'll also come to love CTT (charlie_the_tuna) as we do.

Welcome to the site, a member has a company called beaver dam marine and he makes replacement parts. He just listed some info on how to get in touch with him for parts and questions.
