Well I have been picking away at the boat on the things I believe I can do alone or with a little help from my son (He can't hammer a nail) Till CB comes and helps with the bigger stuff.
So today I decided it was time to build a dam in the back of the boat. The boat is a self bailer, but it also use to be a Seadrive and now has a bracket and 225 Evinrude. They had to cut a hole in the floor right at the rear wall to get the bolts Thur. So I need to build a dam to divert the water to the scuppers.
Well the day didn't start well and just got worse!! I never did get anything done as my son has no idea and I have no hands till I have a operation.
So the first thing that happened is I was cutting a piece of starboard and it kicked out a piece and almost took my thumb with it then hit my little belly! After that the screws were to long and not enough room for the drill, My son has BLACK 5200 all over the boat! :cen::cen::cen: So I call it quits and go in the house my son taking a shower and falls out of hte shower to the floor, taking the shower curtain with him and water every were! I would have paided to see that!!
So CB is coming tomorrow to help with thur hulls, I hope things go better!!!
Third pic is my hand after doing all the wheel bearings, and last is my belly from today.

Get you some ACETONE MJ. It will take the 5200 right off as cleanly as can be. I got some on me earlier today and the ACETONE took it right off. Bummer about the rest, I feel your pain man. My possesed vessel is just about as bad.

Retrace your's days events, see if it happens in three's. With that much crap going on and you haven't had 3 good "your *** being handed to you" , then you still got some left and start looking for it to get over with after the third episode.
God I hate it when that happens to me, it's funny as hell to someone else though.
By the way spell "thru" hull. Every post for the last few days has windtalk all over that word (I know them fingers don't fit the keyboard all that good, but DAMM).
LOVE YA, MEAN IT.

(and drill a hole in that thumbnail to relieve some pressure, take 2 asprins, 3 beer and call me in the morning)

Maco, you need a vacation !!! Come down to P.R., we`ll go fishing and drinking on Pestanas, and you will forget about all that pretty soon !!!
By the way, what is a "SELF-BAILER" boat. I`m new to this boat terms.

A self bailer is a boat that has scuppers, so when you get water on the deck it just goes out of the boat.
You should have them on you V2o if you have 80 or up.

**Important Clarification**

If you do decide to drill a hole in the thumbnail, please do not use a power drill. Sterilize a needle and SLOWLY work a hole into the center of the nail with it.

Actually, you are probably past the point of "pressure pain" but if not I know the hole in the nail works great because I had to do it to mine before :zip:

Thanks Macojoe.
I get it. When I have people on the boat, water gets in, I think I will install those check valves I have seen in the "scuppers".
