Stormed like hell but i did what I could do.....made starboard dash and turned out great. In laws in town this weekend sooo......got a good lesson in wire soldering, all new wires to run soldered, heat shrinked and ready to pull. Went ot Kilkenny Marina to pull the tank. Guys were great! I drilled to holes and hooked safety chain connected with a shackle to the tank. Backed in, hooked up to the hoist and it peeled out like a bannana.......after it lifted the V20 off the trailer 2 feet for about 2 seconds. Great show for the bystanders! Cleaned out tank hole and 5200 the 2x4's to the glass then to the tank....don't know if it will hold, need advice on the re-mount. Ran new fuel hoses and will finish connections tomorrow. Pretty tired.....keep having weird dreams of a fish chasing me with battery cables and a jar of bread and butter pickles...Jessica Alba was there too, naked holding a quart of fuel stabilizer?????????? Oh well....the progress continues.

great pics! Was there no way to flush mount the Garmin, or do you just not want it flush mounted?

I didnt think I could get it(GPS) in right if flushmounted plus I like to take it off and carry it with me. I can't find any holes in it, but there is some major corrosion. Anybody want it???? Free to a good home.....free until I decide to clean it up, paint it and sell.

I used the 1/4 starboard but now I'm scared it may be to thin causing vibration....it is sturdy but I'll have to see when I mount it and run it.

Here's the thread from when my alter ego replaced my tank.

I used "Great Stuff" foam to cradle the new tank and strapped it down with ratchet tiedowns. I was careful to leave room for water to drain/dry if any gets in there. So far it has worked fine.

Can you tell me how to wire and ground my tank properly? It's an INCA tank almost exactly like yours. I have removed all wires so its from scratch.
