What will they do for my 225 Eveinrude? 1989 I think?

They wouldn't do a whole lot unless you pulled your engine down and added some compression and a bit porting. Your 86 would probably get a little benefit stock, but not alot. These are the carbs that the MERC killers want to use.

Thanks!! I am thinking of having my other 225 that came with the boat rebuilt from top to bottom so I have a new motor!!
I love to have a new E Tec!! But the cost and the fact that the back yard wrench like me would never be able to work on it turns me off!!

These carbs in the ad are actually larger than those that came on the 250 V-6. I can hear MJ now, GAS WHAT GAS:head:? The engine dun drank it all:bat:.

I would, but I have no hands anymore, have had Diabeties for over 20 years and my are not even close to what they use to be!!
I need a operation on my hands and the doc is going to tell me what I need in May. Well I have already told him that, that will have to wait till Spet. as I am fishing ll summer!!
CB and the rest already know they will be tieing all my hooks this summer as I can't do that either!
