Slipped out after work just cause it was sooooo perty. Tide and wind were all wrong, but I managed three fish, and missed 6 or 7. Lets just say there weren't real aggresive. Gettin an eary start this year:clap:

We are 19" and five fish per day this year. I fished Saturday as well, but no luck. It was pretty when we left the dock, but after 10 minutes of fishing it was blowing N 25 :bat:

Good times,

Man you guys are tough. I'd tell youz about a good time I had with the Old Lady, but y'all would want pics of that too :)

Here's a pic from the other day, just to calm the nerves...

Hammer is not here....somebody has got to whine about pics!

Slot, I just don't understand how they start to bite inshore up there before they do down in NC/SC. We won't see but a couple of stragler small 1 - 2lb fish in the creeks for another month before a good bite develops.

Nice pic, thanks for posting. My cabin fever headache went away instantly when I saw it

From what I read they are starting to bite at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. I'm hoping to get out there and give it a try if the winds could stop blowing for one freaking weekend.

CY, just a funny angle on the pic. I wasn't more than 1/2 mile from land in Chincoteague Bay. The way the boat was sitting, OC was in the backround about 30 miles away:hi:

Silversides were the bait of choice this weekend. Its also what the fish were spitting up when they hit the deck.
