After much contemplation, I've decided to sell my Steplift. *I've just run out of space and it's too small to charter four fishermen with them all casting. *I'm going to buy a 23'-24' bay boat for inshore fishing and scalloping charters. *If interested, it's an 86 with a 2000 (sold new in 2002) 150 hp Mercury carbourated with a new outdrive installed (9/03) under warranty. *Motor has est. 150-200 hrs. *Boat has a new bimini, cockpit cover, hydraulic steering, dual batteries,Todd 1000 seats w/covers, Navman 2100 fuel monitoring system, VHF, compass, anchor and rode, samson bit mounted on the bow, lines, pfd's and racor fuel water separator. *Trailer is an 86 Load Rite dual axle in very good condition with no brakes. *Package is in very good condition. *Pictures to follow. *This boat has gotten me alot of compliments on its appearence. *If you're looking for a turnkey package, you will not be dissappointed. *Asking $7500.00. * *

Don't worry MJ, he's all the way down there in FL. Not many people are as crazy as me and willing to drive from FL up this way or from this way down to FL for a boat...

You'll be okay. You each have a target group which is basically determined by your locations...

Some members list boats from other For Sale sites (EBay, Craig etc.) and it makes it tougher to sell member's boats. Hell, some members take pictures of boats they pass on the street and post it on this site. There aren't that many V20 member's boats in the "For Sale section", but there sure are alot of V20's listed. I wouldn't expect anybody to drive to Fl. to look at a $7500.00 boat or to Mass. from Fl. to look at a $5500.00 V. Some boating sites stop this by charging a fee to list boats in their "For Sale" sections. Posting others boats doesn't affect the poster until they try to sell their boat. I really don't expect to sell mine off of this site unless I get really lucky. I'll probably let my dealer sell mine on consignment. They'll sell it for 5% and that's alot better than their trade-in price. Sorry for the rant.

I purchased a 23' Carolina Skiff w/a 115 Yamaha 4 stroke with 20 hrs on it. *It's an 05 package. *It's ideal for the fishing we do on the gulf. *Yamaha did performance tests with the 23 CS and the 115 and at 4000 rpm it'll run 28 mph and get 7.7 mpg with a top speed of 43 mph. *That's fine for an old guy like me.

Congratulations! Extremely nice package. That 115 4 stroke is the BOMB! I've fished a 19 semi-v carolina skiff with the same motor and costs us 10 bucks to flounder fish all day with 5 guys on board. Pretty neat!
