It will be one week ago tomorrow that we brought her home. I love my V20. With her beautiful lines, raked bow and shaggin cabin.

Just wanted to drop in and say whats up. Found this site with a google search and have been burning my eyes out researching old threads and weeding out my newbie questions.

Lots of good stuff, gonna have to attack that gas tank issue soon and found lots of good stuff on that (BIG THANKS). Even found a link to craigslist of the add and boat some one posted.

It needed a good bath so we spent last weekend cleaning her up just going over it in general. She needs some TLC but is fully operational and ready to fish
This Sunday is hopefully gonna be the day me and the girl splash her and she how she does. It is a big upgrade from the 17ft Mckee.

Thanks for all the info. Hope to contribute something myself.

Thanks for the welcome.

I will get some pics up as soon as I can, I have been focused on getting her cleaned up.
It is a 1984 hull with a 1994 175 mercury. It was in Wilmington NC, I found it on craigslist.

Overall the boat is in great shape, except the gas tank issue, and the fact someone put the cheap stainless pieces on the boat so most of that stuff has to be replaced.

Gotta get to work, pics to come

Stink - I thought that dingleberry got pulled out when it became entangled in your thong while you were in a hurry to squat and pee? I may be thinking of the wrong dingleberry, if so my apologies.

Welcome FishThis!

Been there, done that. In my experience the Charmin created dingleberrys stay on the hook better than Angel Soft.

Thanks that is all.

Whoa there Stink, I gotta respectfully disagree with you on that. While Charmin does stay on the hook better, angel soft creates a chum slick of small dingleberry particles, which we all know bream can't resist. To them it looks just like bread crumbs.

I challenge you to a fish off. You use Charmin DB's and I'll use Angelsoft DB's and we'll see which is better.

Very nice Fish, in your exitement to replace and update etc. don't forget the overiding principle. Use the h@ll out of it, fish play explore, take super models for rides watch sunsets aboard etc. etc.
Makes the paying and working on it go down much nicer.
