I sure would like to have a late 80's North Coast 24 w/ twin outboards! Its a V20 on steroids...
:sun:

Most of them were made with twin straight inboards. Those would make a great bracket conversion but could be costly.

There were some designed for outboards....check this one out. Has a nifty faux "full transom." This would be awesome with a pair of 200 hp 4 strokes.

I like those too Blue. There was one on THT a little while back that looked like a good deal.

Nice boats. Small battleships, they are.

One of my fave's too. With twin carbed outboards it gets 1 to 1.25 mpg though.

Hey BR, was that @ Murrell's Inlet? If so, it probably belongs to a guy I work with.

Not that I know of RB - I just found the pic on boat trader.

twin 4-strokes would not be "optional"

200hp zukies would be the bomb!

nice rig Blue Runner.

I am about to upgrade my motor 2003 Yamaha 150HP TRCX to 2006 Honda 4 stroke 225HP for 2004 V21 Steplift.

I am still sitting on the fence on this one. Will this really save me gas or it will be just about the same fuel consumption as the current motor I own.

Pike, what are you getting with your '03 150? I have the same motor only its a 2004. I get about 2.5 mpg. If I had to guess I'd say you will see some savings. How much I have no idea. Let us know how it goes.

So you have one of those new '04 V21 models? Got any pics of it? How do you like it?

I wouldn't do that if I were you. It's WAY to heavy for a V-20/V-21. A member had one before and ended up getting rid of the whole boat because it performed poorly, and porposed severely.

Search is our eternal friend.

I appreciate your comment. The weight difference between 150 and 225 is 178 lbs.

I think I should post a new thread and poll around to get input before I do anything.

Thanks again.
