Now that deer season is over me and my dad finally had time to install the lower unit. We also bought an "engine test tank" aka 96 gallon trash can. The counter rotation motor runs like a charm and didn't give us no bs. The other motor though gave us pure hell. I almost killed the battery trying to crank it, luckily it cranked just as the battery was about dead, and it wouldn't stay running at idle till it warmed up some. We had to keep it at 2000 rpm. We also found out that the water pumps work better when in water rather than on muffs. Everytime we ran them on muffs it took about thirty seconds to a minute for water to start coming out the pee hole, when in the tank we had water immediately. When we finish painting, sanding patching, etc i'm going to take it to school and let the guys at Marine Tech. work on it. The instructor used to build and race OMC's on his own time. I'm thinking about taking that class next year. And just for all the picture ho's i went outside and took pictures.

Those are on my250 Sportsman. But then again the back of it doesn't look to much different than a V-20.
