Anyone know where I can get a replacement scupper for my 86 v-20 steplift. Self bailing deck, but cracked scupper needs to be replaced. Any help would be appreciated. Docked in Pirates Cove, Manteo NC ???

Docked in pirates cove huh? What a nice place!!! The v20 must be the smallest boat there with the same flair as those Carolina boats.

I have a 86 cutty. I replaced my thru hull fittings a couple of years ago becaused they just broke apart when I tugged on them. I can't believe Wellcraft put a plastic thru fitting below the water line. I'm waiting for a set of stainless thru hulls now from Boaters World. The drains inside my cockpit seem to be in fine shape. Maybe I should check on replacing them also.

Did you find something that keeps water from backing back into the cockpit, this is a problem for me. When I asked about that before on this site I got a bunch of comments about drinking less beer and losing weight.

This is a fun site, I think you will enjoy it. It seems most of these guys are from up north. Its good to have a Nags Header on here.

I replaced my scuppers on my v-20 cc with ball scuppers. Its seems to work much better than the old style. They sucked. Got them at West Marine but I see everyone sells them now. They just screwed right on in the same fashion. Ofcourse mine are above water line scuppers( well supposed to be anyway).

If your talking about the thru-floor part, I went to my local plumber supply house and the guy told me I was looking for a "bar stop". It was brass, the right size, and even came with a stopper which I use. Just remember to pull it out when it rains.
