well a guy I work with is selling a boat. It belonged to his brother in law who recently passed a way. I have not seen it but I here it is pretty nice, if anyone is interested I will get some pics from him.

here are the details I know of

1997 19' Wellcraft Center Console
-T-Top
-1997 Johnson 120 2-stroke
-bottom painted
-depth finder
-GPS
-Chartplotter

it is kept at a boat Hotel on a rack, so it never sees any weather

the motor top end was rebuilt a couple years ago

says it will do almost 40 mph

Cy,

Do you know how much he wants? Where is it located? I know you said it was stored in a boat hotel, but does it come with a trailer?

BGA,

I thought you would be interested. It comes with a bunk trailerwith brakes, not sure if single or double axle? I think he said $7000. Located here in Ocean City, Md. Let me know if this sounds good and I will bug him to go take some pics ;D

BGA, do a quick search on a Wellcraft 190 CCF, if it is indeed that boat, they are a nice ride. I've spent a good deal of time on one all over the Chesapeake and have even been tuna fishing on the same boat. They ride very nice for a 19'.

Thanks Slot! Searching and reading right now...

How is the boat on deck space? Does it have those euro transoms that eat up a lot of space?

It's o-k on deck space. *The transom does keep the water out of the boat very well *;D

I've got a 91' sport 18 CC and I love the ride ........ I've been in other boats up to 4 ft longer and was beat to death when mine gave a much smoother ride in the same conditions. $7k is probably not a bad price for a boat that is supposed to be in excellent condition ....... I gave $5K for mine 2 years ago in good condition.

Rhahn,

Thanks for the word buddy.

I've been wondering whether or not I'd be okay with a 19 foot boat. I'd hate to buy one only to want a bigger one shortly after...

She is a nice looking boat. Do you think it's a bit underpowered though?

Cy, does your friend have any pics of the interior?

Thanks for posting. I'll be giving it some thought.

If thats a 112spl it'll tickle 40. I've spent many an hour on the same boat fishing around Tangier and Smith islands in the Chessy BGA.

Hey Cy, I'd like to stop by and see it up close if possible. It will be a trek, but worth it if all goes well.

Also, can you tell me what else is included as far as baitwells, washdown, etc... ?

Thanks buddy.

Well, I asked him and he does not know. He is going to check to see what it has. He is selling this boat for his sister who just lost her husband, so it is not his and not sure exactly what it has. I will let you know as soon as I hear. As far as seeing the boat, they have to get it down off the rack, so they only need an hour warning. I will keep you posted. ;)

BG I had a 115 2smoker on my Old School. It is heavier than that boat and it sipped gas and pushed me fully loaded at 35-36 no problem with a enclosure up and two or three guys. That CC should do better and will probably cruise at a lower rpm than my V did. They are tough engines and mine was as reliable as a anvil.
