Just wanted to update the progress.
Got the new seacast transom replacement done. That stuff is strong as hell. Got the cap installed today, were going to hang the motor sunday and we should be good for a test by Monday. I've got more pics I'll post in my gallery. I'm glad at this point I went with seacast. I was sceptical at first but it worked out just like the directions and testimonials pointed out. As long as I don't donate my motor to the bottom of Otsego Lake on my test ride, I think I'll be happy with the replacement. I was able to install new 12" stringers tied to the existing ones. Glassed them to the transom. I need to add more glass for stregnth but it did work. Thanks for that tip.
I'll update with pics tomorrow after the motors are bolted in.

Hey Mike, I'm finally catching up on reading some posts here and was wondering what kind of progress you've made recently.

I bought my V20cc in march04 and I did my transom with the seacast and I have been running it all summer and this fall with no problem what so ever (solid as a rock). I pulled the whole top cap off to do this which worked out good so i could check all the stringers which were solid. If anyone wants to know how to find seacast on the web just go to www.transomrepiar.com.
