I don't know how to add photos here, email me if you are interested. "Macojoe", you sure have a nice way of greeting a new member. :) I'm sure your boat is much nicer than mine. Maybe I'll be able to elevate myself to your standards someday. ;) Sea-r-cy

Welcome to the site Searcy!
Don't listen to that Macojoe guy, he doesn't even own a running boat, much less a V-20. And the V-20 he used to own stays full of water about half the time.

Nice hull. ;)
Was the transom filled in with Seacast. Looks like it went from a 20 to a 25" transom.

I've owned and used the boat from '99 to 2005. I've had it 35 nautical miles offshore, great old boat. Yes, I did Seacast the transom and raise it 5". 8) Sea-r-cy

Seacast if fine if you have a fiberglass layer on each side.(recomended by seacast after I did mine)
As you can see, I raised my transom 5". The seacast by itself isn't strong enough, I had to plate mine with aluminum after it cracked. Other than that, it's great stuff. I used a chainsaw, verrrry carefully, ;D to remove the wet/rotten transom wood. Make sure the glass is 100% dry before using the seacast. Also, make sure that there is no holes in the glass shell, the seacast will run out. Sea-r-cy ;)
