Clean up chalky steel

My galvinized trailer under my 74 V-20cc has turned a chalky color, Is there anything that will get rid of it.....

I used "Scubbing Bubbles" bathroom cleaner to clean my trailer that was stained with Oak tree tanin..came out nice and shiny with almost no effort on my part
