Hey Guys in prep mode for this storm I went ahead and got the baby back on the trailer. I replaced ALL bolts with new appropriate size galvanized ones, re-galvanized it and put all new roller and bracket assemblies. Well, almost all new…I bought the last few that my local boating store had and that was enough to get her back on. I needed seven, but she is resting atop five at the moment. Man was it a lot of work getting that thing back on. I used a combination of an engine lift, floor jack and a crap load of 6x6 blocks.

Here are some pics:

Yeah, Stinky...bet you ARE glad that's done...I got one question...how come you didn't finish up all the trailer work, wheels, axles...before puttin' a ton of fiberglass on it?...wouldn't it have been easier?... :)...

Luv the way you set up those bunkers... ;D...

yeah i had that same question in my head. I always remove my hulls before doing trailer work makes life so much easier.

The reason guys....$$$$ ::)

We are really tight right now and I didnt have a choice. It was better to go ahead and get it to safety without new axles than leave it there.

Also, my dad has a big shop with a concrete floor so it really wont be a big deal to sit it up on stands and do the axles when I get them. 8)

I am going to have them made with all new hubs, spindles and everything. The leafsprings are already new so I will just have to slide em under and bolt the wheels on.

go to this website for trailer parts. Get the free catalog. That's the best way to see there stuff. They have a great deal on a tandum axle complete set comes with 2 axles, 4 hubs, 4 springs, 6 hangers, 2 t bars and all the bolts you need for 269.95 or 281.95 depending on the length axles you need.
