Well, and friend and I bolted up the motor yesterday. I got the Tilt/Trim unit bolted in. The same friend came over today helped me install the last two cleats. Labor Day weekend is coming quick. I told my wife to plan on going out on the boat one of those days with family. Anyway, here are a few pics.

Phester,
Yeah, the motor runs great (knock on wood). It started right up after sitting in my garage for 8 months while the work was beeing done on the boat. I did put a new water pump in it while I had it off.

007, what kinda boat does your nieghbor across the street have? When your boat is done he'll probably have FOR SALE signs on his and he'll be v20 shopping

Yeah, there's one under a cover in one shot, then another that looks to be a cuddy-cabin of some sort...you keep sportin' that V20 around in front of 'em, they'll keep 'em ALL under covers... ;) ;D...

Thanks guys,
I tell you what, I would rather take an a$$ whoopi'n than have to do that kind of work for a living. Oh well....the hard work's done, the finishing touches shouldn't be to bad. The one boat covered across the street is some sort of older model tri-hull with a 115 Evinrude ( I think it's a 115). The motor is an 84-86 model and literaly has 20 minutes on it, but it hasn't ran in 15+ years. The bigger boat across the other street is a 24 ft Sportscraft I/O, 84' I believe. My best bud owns that.
Chesapeake,
Sorry I missed your question about the FLY. Yeah I decided this topside project was taking long enough and decided to put off doing the hull right now. I still have the issue with the bottom paint. After cleaning up the transom, I'm quite sure that I'm not sanding it all off.

HEY i thought they stopped making v20 so what gives ,
is that a 2005 model or a 2006 model Im not stupid so dont
try to confues me
and i would keep my boat under wrapps also if it wasnt a v20

they came up with a new V20 a couple of years ago.
But don't get to excited!! Its a real $hit box and looks nothing like the REAL V20!!
Its something that they thur the name on to try to up sales IMO.
CB and I saw one last year at the boat show and BS had posted some pic here also.
That said Wellcraft did have a 22 foot dual console that I would have killed for!

MJ, I think steplift20 was jokingly referring to 007's nice lookin refurbished V20! Not actually inquiring about new V20 models...
