Barnacles

Anyone got any good suggestions on how to get dried on barnacles, the ones that look like little shells off the transducer and similar parts you cant' bang on ???

plastic putty knife or they make a cleaner you spray on and them wipe off.

I think I need some type of chemical pre treat skools, and my buddies boat has them much worse, you can't get inder them with a scrapper
