well the former owner (idiot >:() of my boat mounted a spot light on the front top of the bow rail. well needless to say it looked like s#%t, so i removed it. now i have a hole in the top of the bow rail where he ran the wiring for it.
how the hell do i (if possible) patch the bow rail ???

put a pole holder there ::)
You might want to see if anyone might have hung on to a bow rail from a v20 that got scraped. I seen a few posts on this site from owners of old v20s who pulled stuff off before sending it to the crusher. If my project goes that way I'll let you know. I just removed my bow rail on Sunday.

...unless its aluminum, then just ball up some tinfoil and mash it in the hole....
p.s. I know I can be a real smart @ss!! Believe me, my wife lets me know all the time!
But seriously, if it is aluminum, I've seen people repair aluminum with a special aluminum welding rod and a torch, although I wouldn't know where to find one without going online.
Let us know what you do.

get behind the wheel and drive the dam thing!! you will never see the hole from there!!
as for salt water getting in there, it gets on the out side?? O... you don't want water to build up in there. Hm...Just drill a hole on the other end so it will drain out ;D
Did someone say they were a smart a$$
