How do you like that reason for low compression LOL Guy said it made an odd noise then knocked off on him lol.

yeah i should have told him to JB Weld a piece of glass in there as a sight glass to see that it's oiling proper lol.

That looks a little deep for gelcoat IMHO *::)
Skool, can that be repaired? How? Raise cowl, pull new motor under then lower cowl?

oh it is going to look bad in side that rod broke you see in the hole. lift hood take apart install electrical on new block and go lol.

My very first motor did that. I think the water pump went out. It didn't have a tell tell on it. Crazy thing was I put it up running perfectly, then the next time I put it in the water and tried to crank it the thing wouldn't crank. So my buddy pulled the cowl while I turned it over. I had it almost running, when he screams STOP! STOP! I'm like, DUDE - I almost had it!!!
I then go back there to inspect and bend down only to see daylight through a hole in the side of the power head! SWEEEEEEEEEET! ::)

I do know an off roader was hunting with me in Maine. A rock put a nasty whole in his transmision case. Once the fluid was out of the way he fixed it with JB Weld and filled her up and drove it out of there. Thought that was pretty cool
