Hammer, I got a driver side wiper several years ago and never installed it...maybe I'm lazy...I don't know...but every now and then I find myself out chasin' stripers in the rain and it would be nice to have :D...

mine came w/ the boat when it was new and oddly enough it works, I just put on a new blade. Msb...., I dont know if I personally would go through the rigors installing one because IMO they aren't very effective. Given the geometrics, i.e. where the motor has to go, the height and width of the windshield, the sweep of the blade itself and the fact that it only covers about 35% of the glass area....it's pretty much useless.Gotta hunch down and lean forward to see through the "sweep area", not sayin they don't work, just doesn't work to well

What Phester's sayin' kinda goes to why I haven't gotten around to installin'...figured it would be like tryin' to see outta a tank... ::)...

Mine came with a wiper, and I replaced the motor 2 years ago because the old one corroded away. I get plenty of use out of mine when we get caught in downpours. Even though it only clears a small area, I find it veeeerryyy helpful.

Your right, Have the weekend off and if it doesnt rain, I'll be working on the hull, sanding the deck and hopefully putting in a few new access hatches, so I can get in and install the new deck drains. Please dont rain !!!!!

My boat came with a wiper. It works. I don't remmeber ever using it. If it wasn't already there, I would have never considered adding one.

You don't need to cut in hatches to replace the deck drains. You can either reach them through the hatches (should be easier for you since you are missing one) or pull the rod boxes. Also gain access thru the door in the slapshwell. I did mine using a compbination of the above.

Hmm, should have read tgis post before going out. Put on the spot light and cut out a hatch opening. Made the opening slightly to big >:( >:( >:( >:(
