Well, it was agreat day in Lewes, so I had some time to work on the boat. Would have gotten more work done, but guys at the boat yard love to jabber more then a bunch of women at a tea party. As you all can see, I decided to go to town with the West System and patched in any type of ding or scratch. Also pulled out that pump that sucks water into the bait well.
Sorry, you wont see any fishing poles on this boat. Just spear guns. : )
Also found a slight crack on top of the transom about a 1/2 long, so I pulled out the grinder and went to town. Wasnt bad at all, not sure how it cracked at the top, maybe the motor bouncing when being trailer in the past. She's solid now though. Also added in three access hatches a few days ago as well. I will be priming the entire hull below the water line with Interlux 2000E water barier coat. Dont wanna see anymore spidering cracks on the skegs, might make it slightly better for resale as well. Repainting the hull below the waterline white again, using a below the waterline paint called Top Secret, somebody posted the site on this paint recently. They swear it will look like a spray finish when completed. Hopefully this weekend if teh rain holds off I will have the hull undercoated, but being held up because my deck isnt sanded yet. I bought a gallon of the interlux 200E and want to use it as well on the deck before adding the TUFF COAT non skid flooring. So I'll be hopefully sanding the deck Saturday, but again, Iam running against the clock. The 65 ft. boat next to me needs to get out sometime next week. Not sure if I'll get her done in time, but have the burners on to finish her up and get her home.
Enjoy the pics. ;D
