Hope this helps somebody else. Somehow the clasp came undone on the access door on the splashwell access for my batteries / oil tank. I think most from 82' up have this door. Anyway when the door opened itself, probably about 15 miles off the beach, it managed to break most of it's attatching hardware. After looking around a little I found the exact hardware in Lowes. It's called a "threaded stud with screw" and the 3/8" size was perfect and I was able to reuse the factory screws, #8, and hinges. If memory serves they used similiar blind hardware on the "baitwell" lids. They were .80 each and I needed 4 so I spent $30 anyway, aint that how it goes when you get around stainless hardware and tools?
