I have a 91 wellcraft V-20 with 5.01 chevy. I want to change out the drive shaft bearing (shaft from engine to outdrive). What does it take to pull the engine. Don't I have to pull to change this bearing?
Also I want to put new bushings in the steering fork, can they be changed by taking out the top part of the outdrive? Any special info I should know? I just installed new heads because I found water in my back 2 cylinders on each side, I did find rust around the head gasket bolt holes on the ones that bolt into the water passages, I'm hoping that was the cause but I did have cracks in and behind my seats in the heads. Anyone have any info or comments on these issues? I've had it running since head job and it seems to run ok but I have only run it on the the trailer dunked at the boat ramp.
