I'll check my receipts and see if I still have it and if it has the length. I'm guessing that its a V20. Does anyone know if its on the cable because I could check mine tonight?

it should be stamped in teh cable near one end, its usually measured in inches rather than feet,

its usually located right where you can't see all of it without a light, just below the screw that sticks in your head, right beside the thing that drop fiberglass dust in your eye, and allways on the back off the cable that you can't twist

Labii,

I think you'd be better off measuring for the cable per their instructions and err on the side of more cable rather than less. I ordered a cable from them last year, but ordered it too short. The good thing is that they're good people who will help you out if you mess up...

The cable is for a friends boat . He put his in the water for the first time this year on Sat . The steering was frozen and he turned the wheel to hard and ground the gears out . He was going to order a NFB system and was not sure of the cable length.
As for me , I'm going in the water or on the work rack this weekend . Spring is here , 78 today and low 80's tomorrow . By the weekend it is it is going to be back in the lower 60's. I may spend the day cleaning and doing some small repairs .....
