I noticed the floorin the cuddy was a tab bit soft and the da#@ carpet was damp. As soon as I ripped out the you know what I found a rotten piece of decking. This one will be easy though because I am going to wrap a new piece of plywood with glass and epoxy it into place. You can bet your A## there will be no carpet going back in there, it will be painted.

The large hole is where the fuel tank goes and there is a liner that I have to repair that goes into the small one. I also have to make a cover for the small one because the Teak cover is in bad shape and I want something more water proof. Like I said , another story.

2ndchance, Let me know what you find for the opening in front of the fuel tank compartment. I'm looking for a hatch of some sort to go over that space also.

I'm going to cut a section out of the old splash well and laminate some plywood to it.
