Is this the same as the last thread I read. If not, I was just at West MArine the other day and they had all sorts of differnt types of rub rails. :-/ ???

I could not find any rub rail that matches exacty the OEM Alum Rub Rail for my 1982 Cuddy V. So I am throwing this out there again to see if anyone has 6 feet or so from a rebuild or a parts boat that I could purchase.
thx

I THINK I'M GONNA REPLACE MY RUBRAIL WITH A NEW FLEXIBLE RAIL THAT TACO CAME UP WITH, WITH STAINLESS INSERT.
WILL KEEP YOU POSTED. LET YOU HAVE MINE IF I DO IT.

Couldn't you just replace it all with a rubber rail and rope insert? I think that would be a lot less expensive...

yeah i like the full rubber ones and are better on the boat if you hit a dock they flex back the aluminum won't they will just end up cracking your boat.

I will try to get to the boat this weekend. I will bring a piece back with me and investigate. Looks like the A11-0711 might be a match. I will let you know.
