Man, if it was not for bad luck I would have no luck. I was heading down to the river today to run the V20, and halfway there the axle broke. Thank sweet Jesus that the boat did not leave the trailer. Whew! Well I got the boat home, and now I am in need of an axle, spindles, leaf springs, and mounting hardware. Anyone know where I can get a 3500lb. square axle for a good price???

I have been looking at axles, I just need the leaf springs, mounting hardware and the axle. The wheels, bearings, and spindles are fine.

Get the Axles with spindles!! Or your going to have to find someone that can weld them in and get them stright!!!

And why not get all new bearings!! after you hammer the races out the old they will be junk for the new!
ou going to have to take them out any way as when he welds the spindles to the new axle they will heat up !

Trailer is not the place to skimp!!

Get a torsion axle if it will work on your trailer....definately worth the extra $$$.

Before replacing any new parts check the rest of the trailer for rust to the main structure. I replaced all you have to replace and all rollers to find that the main frame in the rear was in just as bad of shape and not worth fixing. I did make a nice utility trailor after cutting off all the rollers and the rear. Go ahead as others have said and buy a complete axle as its not that much more.
