Ok guys, I need a little help. As discussed in other threads I've purchased a V in NJ. It'll be getting to my place in CA around 3/19. I want to mount a kicker on it and I'd like it run gas rather than carry a can of mixed 2 cycle fuel. My understanding is that means I'm looking a a four stroke (please correct me if I have this wrong!)

I found the Honda long shaft listed in the link below. Will this meet my needs or should I be looking for something else?

I'm looking at either a Merc 9.9 or 8hp fourstroke. They only weigh 84 lbs.

look for a high trust model, i havwn't tried one, but people I've talked to about them said it made all the diiference , general opinion is not to worry about needing anything over 15 hp, if your using the high trust
