i am having trouble with steering hoses.when i turn the wheel sometimes they bend or kink where they are supposed to slide into the boat.theres enough hose & they dont hit anything.any way to stiffen them up by the motor so they stay stright?

once they crimp over the damage is done, depending on what kind of ends you have, you can remove the ends, cut the hose back and put the ends back on eliminating the crimped *part. After you get the hoses straight, make sure they won't bind or kink. they do have hose reinforcemnts to go over the hose to prevent crimping, I've some people get it from hydraulic suppliers

thnx spare. i have some heavy air line tubing i l try to sleeve over .

you can use refrig copper tubing as it is for 600 psi and run it from pump to the back and put fittings there and thread on short flex hoses there. usually cheaper alot of boat mfg use copper as lines to the transom then go flex with 3 or 4 ft hoses

my 23 footer has all copper tubing right to the transom then hose from transom to the ram.
