Now you're on one of MY favorite topics, the weather! My wife says I'm a meteorologist wannabe!
Started today with rain and 63, got up to 73 and sunny with west winds, and supposed to be down into the 40s tonight with winds 20-30 mph (that's here on the island). Planning on a boat ride tomorrow, that is if the winds lie down, high expected to be near 60.

Pipe I've been accused of bein' a weather hound, too, but I think if you spend enough time in a boat it'll MAKE you pay attention... :o...

WIND will not go away up here...supposed to go to Lake Murray after stripers tomorrow, but if the breeze doesn't lay down, it'll kill that trip... ::)...I'm ready for this frontal passage to pass on... >:(... ;D

Knightfisher, I'm on Hilton Head Island. We keep our boat in a little marina right off the ICW.

By the time I finished yard work (grrrrrr) and got to the marina the winds had lessened some, but it was still gusting to 26 mph. I ran the boat some mostly to charge the batteries, and staying in the creeks I was able to enjoy a short ride. The only nice thing I can say about the wind is that when I washed down the boat the winds kept the no-see-ums off of me.

BTW, water temp is now up to 65 degrees. Soon, after I finish all my spring planting (it's got to be done!), I'll be wetting my first lines of the season. ;D
