That last pic - is that inside the center console? Looks roomy! Probably as big or bigger than the cuddy on a V-20! Very sweeeeet! Nice cooler of fish too!

thanx guys,,
Yeah, the cabin is in the center console, I think for me and my boy it's a great set-up. We did an over-nighter two weeks ago on Jordan lake here in NC, was pretty comfortable. For offshore, we use it as a "shelter" for thunder boomers and rain/wind etc... There's wood pieces (3 large) that go across the mid section, when they're in, they make a 2 person sleeper with the cushions and all. When removed, you can tightly sit 4 guys in there and plenty of storage room and all that.
I fish out of Wrightsville (Masonboro inlet), we run all the reefs and to the stream from Masonboro. I always launch at the ramp at the 74 bridge comin into Wrightsville.
I havent seen a V20 cabin, so it would be hard for me to compare. I do like the V21 Wellcraft has out, I think it's got a great layout and would be an awsome lake boat. I like the little things Wellcraft does to innovate, the cabin on a "technically" 23 ft Center with as much room as they got definately sold me.
I'm the worlds worst freshwate fisher, and would be happy to swap tips, I'm all about offshore sport... I hear folks catchin nice stripers in Jordan, but I'm lucky to hook a yellow perch ya know!! ha ha ha ha....
I have a tournement tommorrow matter of fact at Shearon Harris lake, will be on Jordan this saturday with my boy and will try to squeeze in a offshore run next weekend, who know's, maybe I can get up with some fellow Wellcraft owners in my area.
Got my Well from George Copeland over at Cope's Marine in Wilson, great guy and has been nothing but helpfull in making sure everything with this boat is right.

Wellcraft Dave, I'll be fishing out of Masonboro next weekend. My bro-in-law lives in Wilmington. I'm takin the V-21. Hopefully I'll have my new Yamaha 150 broken in by then!
I'll be starting out this weekend out of Murrell's Inlet. Then a short haul (by road) up to Little River for the rest of next week. Then we head out on Fri night or Sat morning for Wrightville (agiain, by road).
If you are fishing out of Masonboro, give me a shout on the radio. I go by Blue Runner. What chanel do you stay on? Only 60 gallon tank here, so I won't be joining you offshore :-[ :'( :( >:( :P but I wish I was! Nice to meet another southern dude on here!
Later,
Blue

Dave...do you rent your Console Cabin by the hour?...sounds like me and Macojoe gonna need a place soon... :o ::)...

Yeah, the area we go to off Wrightsville is pretty hot right now fishin wise, like mentioned, the areas are covered with kings. If you get a chance, check out the Lennon/Hyde wreck, to the south of the bouy and a tad east by 200-300 yards, there's some really good structure to "drift".. might be worth checkin out ;)
We run usually out to the ledge right out past the Esso Nashville wreck and a tad NE, got us a great little grupah hole and lot's of mahi as well come off the stream eddy that for some reason dips in that way every year. I'll post some mahi pix for ya's.
Yeah man, we be southern here! I did notice lot's of folks here from up north... My wife's from Mass. and I got a good bud up there that lives in Randolph Mass, mother inlaw lives in a god awfull place (Buzzard bay area), sis in law has a place on the vine yard (divorce settlement thing....) but all my relatives are from Kentucky down thru every southern state but Looosiana.
Dont know if the cabin's that big to rent out,, but hey, if he dont mind livin on the trailer in the back yard... I guess I could use the gas money to fill that 150 gallon tank!! ;D
Well if the weather holds out we're gonna try to give it a go next weekend. Cant miss us... call sign Size 9 and we monitor CH's 16/68/69.. if ya happen to see us, drop a holler and we'll come over an meet ya.
We leave Sanford usually around 2 a.m. and drive down 87 south to 76E then to the Walmart there in Wilmington for some bait, then down 74 to the ramp, in the water by 4:30-5:00 a.m. and dont stop till we hit the ledge,,, we usually roll back to the ramp up there 'bout 4 p.m. or so.
Now if y'all ever want to run out sometime,,, man I got plenty of room, more than welcome and I'll give a holler out when we got a space. I get alot of Yeah I'll go from guys at work, only for them to not show up or cancel out at the last minute,, but usually my boss and myself go anyway and my bud that works over at Grubb's in Winston heads out with us too every now an then. My first mate for 5 years just bought his first boat so he's obviously been spending more time on his new set up.. so usually I got room for one or two more.
Labii, the lure that's been killin kings for us right now has beent the Yozuri Bonita lure, looks like a big ol rattle trap without the rattles. For some reason, purple and pink is the combo.... man they just eat it up. The lure doesnt put off "smoke" trails and runs good and clean with a heck of a side to side motion, if they're there, they hit it hard. Those lures let us troll a bit faster and cover more water. Whenever we run up on flyin fish or a bait pod on the sonar, we'll swing around and drop in them Yozuri's and a couple bird rigs on the outside with a cedar plug (mackeral colored) on the drop back center rigger... get's 'm every time ;) (Boone bird rigs with silver clark spoons... we catch almost everything on them as well)
Welp, let me get out of here, I got to be at Shearon Harris at 6:30 in the mornin... Good luck y'all fishin this weekend, we'll try to get Size 9 out there for some mahi/tuna/wahoo action next weekend and will give a holler out on 68 or 69 for ya.
Reelapeelin, tell Macojoe to bring his sleepin bag a pillow and 4 cases of Pennzoil Synth blend and he can stay for a month after that, we'd have to negotiate somethin! ha ha ha haha... :)
