Nice, real nice. Took it out in the river yesterday, nice ride. Did various things to test her out. Quatered big boat wakes head on and following. Hit them head on, no slamming or plowing. Very responsive engine, kept the rpm under 4200 till it gets some hours. It's about 750 lbs lighter than my V20 was, and not as deep an entry on the bow so it rode over stuff mor than knocking it down. It was fairly breezey yesterday so I got just a little spray. It's got a lot more useable space than my V20 did, Mainly because it's a center console and an outboard. It's really quiet. I met the mechanic at the dock for the water test. I had to ask him if it was running!!! My bilge blower in the V20 made more noise. At 3800 rpm you could hold a conversation in normal tones. It has nice latches on all the hatches, no banging around from the hatches when hitting a chop. It has a stainless steel prop. Seems to get on plane pretty quick, but I didn't really pour on the power, just kinda eased into it. I had them take it back to make a few adjustments, steering was a little stiffer than I expected, and I wasn't happy with how the trailer bunks were set. They delivered 9 boats yesterday ( the had a model year end boat sale the previous weekend) so I didn't want them to rush thru it. Of course I aint payin till I'm happy!!!!! Plus they still have to detail it.

Thats great bud ;D never had that new boat experience, maybe someday. I will tell you for pure fishing nothing beats that CC. Mine is great for a 18.5 rides nice and pretty dry too. Until the wind picks up then you could be on a 32 Regulator CC and your going to get wet. I know :-/ The old guy who I fish with tells me that you'll never see a serious fisherman going out in CC w/o rubber boots and good rain gear, even i fthere is no rain forecasted. I agree and after my first windy day coming back I got my self both and they never leave the boat. I hope that boat does well by you and attracts fish by the boat load ;D

That's what I meant by being "floaty". Made me feel really safe, but I tell ya, it was so rough that if I wasn't holding on I'd been in the water more than once! A couple of times my feet came off the ground, but I was clinging for life to the console rail! :P
