Well guys I had a nice weekend and spent most of it with the family around the house. Due to me working outside and my wife putting on a yardsale by Sunday evening the house had gotten kinda messy. We decided about 8 or so last night to both jump on it and knock it out in an effort to start our Monday off better.
I started on the obvious things that needed doing as she did the more tedious ones. I finished up most of the housecleaning items that required little sense and was kinda geting distracted when she said "Hey I got something else you can do. *;D "..."Uhh Ok what" I muttered. *::) *"I need you to hang this *bracket in Lexie's room." she replied. I looked at it and decided it had to be cut off and a hole drilled in it. I headed out to the shed to do the work and seen my bow target on my way out. I stopped and looked back at the house for the "warden" and it seemed clear. I said to myself..."SELF, surely it wouldnt hurt to fling a few arrows....it'll only take a minute." I set me up a light with which I could see my target. The light was bright enough to see yet dim enough that it had *that twilight lookin like a deer at dusk look to it. 8) *Yes!! I was ready. I then stepped off my yardage and popped a few. I decided at that point I should go ahead and make a few adjustments to my sights...so I did. Shooting commenced again. I popped off a few and then remembered that I was going to paint a couple yardage marks on the grass earlier in the day but I forgot. I stopped shooting and went into the shed for some spray paint. I came back and painted them where I wanted them and began to shoot again. I sank a few more in the foam and made another adjustment or two. Evidently I lost track of time because a "few" minutes later the wife came to check on my "progress". She stuck her head out the door at about mid draw on what I figured to be my "2nd" or "3rd" shot and bellowed something very NOT happy. She said "WHAT are you doing and WHAT are these stupid painted lines in the grass!!!! >:(She gave me one of these: *>:( and I gave her one of these: *:o and I just said "baby Im sorry I get distracted easily." I quickly tucked tail and ran to the shed to finish up what I had originally came out there for.
Aint marriage grand!!! *::) ;D
