Well took my boss' 28' Albemarle out yesterday for tuna. We went 55 miles offshore to a dump site, then to the "Hambone" then to the "Jackspot" and no tuna :'(
We did catch 7 False Albecore all around 24", but threw them back. At least we did not get skunked...... :)
SOrry no PICS.....but remember my camera was stolen on vacation. >:( :-/

Tuna fishing has been a huge bust this year, specially out of Chinc. Did you get the albe's around the G'Spot, er Jackspot? ;D Being that my fishing year has been a bit of a bust, I'm hoping to get some light tackle false albe action here soon.

Air,
You eat those things???
and Sean, we caught False Albecore, not tuna. There is no such thing as inshore tuna where Air and I live :'( Gotta go at least 20 miles to find real tuna ::)

Nope, wouldn't touch em on a dare, but I will catch and release them on light tackle all day long. Heck, they put up a decent fight on a 30# rig, try catching one oon flounder tackle.....now yer talking ;D
