Have you heard of any reports in the Lewes or Milton area of
a silver fox or a coyote???

In early May, my wife and I along with two friends
were walking down the main street of Milton
about 10:00PM and in the middle of the street I spotted what looked like a silver fox,
but then the other day I saw a show about coyotes on TV
and now I think it may have been one of them.
I would have chalked it up to seeing things, but
my wife and friends saw it too.

No I wasn't drinking, but I did have banana ice cream with wet walnuts at Kings, yum.

Those wet walnuts'll do weird things to ya ;) ...we got foxes (silver and red) around here...and last year I saw a coyote cruisin' across an open field 2 miles up the road from here...

So far this year I've killed two Copperheads...biggest one almost as big around as my wrist...I bring blacks and kings to the house, but "Heads" are DEAD ;) ...

Never seen a silver fox or read anything in the paper about them. Hell even today for the first time a damm wild turkey ran out in front of my cruiser.
The whole area is littered with foxes. Its the time of year now when touriest call and complain about them and want us to respond out and shoot them. They look all scraggley, but the live in the marsh areas that surround alot of the area. I'd look abit scraggley to if I lived in the Marsh.
So you were in Milton eating Icecream, damm I guess they only had one spoon ahh. or maybe your just oneway. I love Icecream :P :P :P

Those dam city slickers want to shoot everything,
and then they will complain about the "cute" bunnies eating all their flowers.

They should live in a rural area, just a few of my little friends:

- racoons - eating the cat food on the porch.
- bats - wiggle into the house once in a while.
- squirrels - in the attack ripping everything to shreds.
- chimney swifts - in the chimneys.
- barn swallows - flying like blue angels in formation (wife thinks they are after her)
- turkey buzzards - they are huge when they are close up. They sit in the tops of the trees and watch everything.(wife thinks they are after her)
- Turkeys - strange birds to watch.
- deer - hunters annoy the dog with drive by spot lights.
- possum - good think I put an air conditioner in my room to drown out the chattering.
- ground hogs - never know were they will turn up and they are mean when cornered.
- fox - they only show up once in a while and they just pass through. least annoying of all my little friends.
- mice - they come in during the fall looking for warmth and food.
- Then there is the stream behind my house - fishermen in the area think free bait and collect minnows.
No regard for private proerty.
- hunters shooting squirrels - aiming directly at the house.

Milton is becoming quite the urban area.
lots of development going on. People found that it is close to the shore and
real estate WAS resonable - prices starting to go up.

I live in Leesport, Pa.

I have a permanent travel trailer site at Steamboat Landing.
I am there almost every weekend during the season. (May to Sept.)
No way could I afford a house at the shore.

The park is on the Broadkill river and the have two ramps.
I come down the river and then out Roosevelt inlet.
Actually the picture in my postings was taken from the draw bridge looking down at the Lewes public dock.
