poison ivy on my left eye and its swollen shut...

a burn on my shin from the four wheeler.....

red wasp stings....

chiggers on my legs and nutsack....

So, have you painted your legs and nutsack with pink fingernail polish yet? I hear it really suffocates those chiggers!

I'll never forget my first chigger. I was 4 or 5 years old. It was right on the tip of my lil soldier. I woke up that morning scratching, only to notice the tell tell signs that I had been "chiggered" in a very bad place.

I promptly went to wake mom up, wooped it out and showed her. Having always heard that the chiggers bury themseleves in the skin, she got out the polish (red) and proceeded to kill that perverted chigger! This supposedly cuts off their air supply (didn't know they had noses).

After that, my little firehat was good to go but what a tragic thing for a young boy to go through. Oh the embarrassment! ;D

I am worse today...arm is severely swollen. It hurts bad from the tighness, cant bend at the elbow or wrist hardly at all.


....doctor is calling in some oral steroids. I cant wait till the pharmacy opens.

Roger that AS...thats the one I got. They give several from what Ive read, but that seems to be the most common.

How long before you noticed improvement? I wanna say some of the discomfort as already subsided (on it about 6hours), but that might be wishful thinking. :P

Definately getting better on day two and felt human again day three. After that you just finish the program so that it stays gone. I think mine was 7 days, maybe 10.

It really loads u up on day one and then tapers off...like any steroids, it has to taper down so the side effect will be lessened.

I cant wait to feel good again. I canceled an offshore trip for saturday cause of this crap...I dont see me feelin up to fishing by then. plus I have to work to make up some hours from missing work. *:P
