Check out the pricing, if you're in the area here's a great place to dock. I buy alot of items from them due to they are always the cheapest and friendliest around.

Skools this might be a dumb question but I'm not all that familiar with that area - which inlet is the closest to Dudley's? And do you know about how far you have to run to get out to the ocean?
Looks like I can dock my 21' there for about 16 bucks a day. Not bad.

Bogue Inlet is the close inlet and is located on the intercoastal about 2 miles to the breakers.

Just as you head out the inlet there is an area called the sandbags close to shore that holds some big trout and puppy drum...drift finger mullet or gulp baits on 1 ounch yellow or white bucktails on the bottom and hold on....Frank

Frank are the sandbags visible? Which side of the inlet -north or south?
Thanks for the tip.

Make sure you stay inside the markers when you run out because it is shallow. When you get ready to turn right to shoot the inlet you will see high dollar houses along the left shore line with sand bags up against the rocks etc. Get as close as you can to the shore line and drift out or in depending on the tide and stay close to the beach where it drops off into the channel . I lost a 7 or 8 pound trout there last october drifting a gulp shrimp along the bottom about sun up and it holds some nice flounder also. If you go out the inlet and turn left along the beach there are some nice black drum crusing around early and late in the day along with big puppy drum again using gulp baits on the bottom drifting maybe a 2oz yellow or white bucktail to keep it on the bottom...I used to live in Cape Carteret and I fished that inlet 3 or 4 days a week for 9 months or so ....LOTS of fishies in that area ....Frank
