Not bad for an hour....I got three more that evening. Grilled em up after church with some bass I caught...sweet! 8)

That was nice of that guy to give you 5 doves like that, tho I hardly call that fun. ;D
Just joshin ya - Perty work Stink! It would take a box of shells for me to get 5 dove. ::)

Thanks guys, I am ashamed at how many shots it took me to get those. As a teen I could smoke em left and right and even shot clays alot, but I havent shot in a while. ::)
O marianted em in scampi seasoning and wrapped em in bacon.
it is Zatarains Scampi.....really good on anything. Poultry, meats, fish, shrimp, etc....

Oh and on the Ivy....I keep a sharp eye out for that crap and even still feel like Im itchin the whole time Im out there. *::)
I also had a tiny lil spotted fawn run by me while dove hunting. *8)
He was barely bigger than a large rabbit...coulda rolled him with the #8's I was shootin. I got back to my buddy later on and he asked why I didnt fold him up.
"Good eatin!!" he said. *::)
I dont have the heart to smoke em that small. *:P

Nice shootin for a redneck, find some quail for me to hunt up brother and I will bring the two Brits down there for ya to shoot over. ;)

Id love to man. The qual down here (cept for qual plantations or course) are going down hill fast. It is really sad. :'(
I did scare up two lil bitty ones in the woods this past weekend though. They were so tiny they could barely fly and I though they were humming birds at first. LOL ;D

I hear ya, very sad. Believe it or not there is a huge tract of land here in NJ called Greenwood State Forest, they stock it with quail. It is pine forest with open savannah type terrain interspersed. Very southern Georgia looking. If you go towards the end of the season you will find some holdovers in there they fly like shot out of a catapult. They are as wild as they come and great hunting. Thank God I got a couple of good nosed dogs and can shoot quick when needed, cause they befuddle a lot of dog/hunters that I know that head into that place.
