What are your favorite snacks to take when you go fishing. I like to take Bananas, they are easy to pack and you don't have to keep the peels when your done, just toss them over the side.

Apples, grapes, peaches,

I'm note the most environment friendly person but I do like to keep my littering to a min. Apples and grapes sound like good foods to take.

Took a store bought sandwich one time, and after 3 hours of no bites I got hungry. Started eating the messy sandwich and guess who started biting. I dropped the sandwich and the plastic wrapper started blowing towards the stern and heading out. It's kinda hard holding a rod and catching a wrapper at the same time.

Fishin' w/ a buddy in my boat several months back...if you brought a banana on his boat, he'd POOP...so when he pulls out a banana, I was a little surprised...he finished it, tossed the peel over and BOOM....first fish of the day hits and we got several more at the same time...

Reel, you might be right. I was told about the no bananas on a boat from the diving community. Maybe bananas and 200 pounds of gear on your back is the last thing you wanna see when trying to dive in. ;D

I like nanners on board too!

While working out and eating as I should (which I do most of the time) I eat 6-8 meals a day. No WAY I can go out without food!! I have usually eating 2-3 times before any of my fishin buddies even think about it! Heck, thats usually by 6 am LOL

I usually have 4-5 sandwhiches..tuna or chicken salad, gatorade, crackers, different kinds of fruit, a thermos with coffee, and I ALWAYS have 5-6 gallons of water onboard NOT counting bottles to drink. 8)

Never know if an accident will occur and I will have to live out there for a few days...you can make it a long time with just water! 8)
