Well here is my take on the gun so far.
My buddy and I (the Delta Dooler)...thats his screen name from our local board, shot it yesterday and all I can say is WOW.
The recoil if phenomenal, but managable. That is definitely not the most impressive part. To me it is the way that it literally shakes the ground when it goes off. When I stood beside Dooler while he shot it you could actually feel the clothes vibrate on your body.
Accuracy wasnt on at all like I had hoped....or should I say we werent hitting like I had hoped? We shot at about 35 yards, open sights and we were shooting very low and left.
I didnt have enough ammo to spend alot of time trying to "dial it in". My plan is to get it scoped and start off next time with a box of .454 or .45 LC and get it close enough for the big stuff. When we left my feelings were kinda bitter-sweet as the power is amazing, but as we all know if you cant shoot it accurately it means nothing. I take pride in spending as much time as I need at the range to be able to shoot my weapon well before I attempt to hunt with it. The .460 may be a little more than I bargained for, but I wont rest untill I can shoot it and shoot it well. 8)

low and left is an indication of flinching( over preparing for recoil) while pulling the trigger, can't understand why you would flinch :D
nice shooting

Yeah spare, its just that we were both shooting low and left. We were also S-Q-U-E-E-Z-I-N-G it off really slow. I am not prone to flinch, I shoot a .300 regularly and have shot lots of big bore guns. Hard to say, you may be right though.
I just wanna get it setup with a scope and shoot off of a bench. We will see whats goin on a little better then.

Hey Stinkman, got yourself a big toy heh ;D
Spare parts called it on the low left, I watched the video and both of you gents were definetly anticipating the shot. Can't imagine why.
Also I noticed you shooting a big bore like you were shooting a standard caliber handgun for multiple shots, trying to control recoil. Ain't happening.
One of the first things you got to do is relax your support hand and start thinking of your strong hand as a trigger control and a hinge, let the recoil roll your hand back rather than trying to push towards your target as you would with a 9mm etc.
Your sites may be off, may be loose etc. you'll sort it out.
You are right on the bench work first, now that you got your initial rush over. Don't be disappointed though. That gun is doing exactly what it is supposed to do. But you are a virgin and need to relax. Once you get the feel of the recoil and allow the gun to make its recoil arc you will get into a groove with it. Took me awhile with full power 44 mags. And believe it or not the 44 mag in a smaller frame revolver recoils about the same as that larger heavier gun in your caliber.
Also don't lock your elbow on your strong arm, give it a slight break. Instead of thinking absorb recoil think more along the line of a Judo master, roll with the opponents force and just direct it.
And bring the gloves silly boy ;)
