Fished the False Channel out of Breezy Point. First over to the Choptank for a few spot then out to the channel for some live lining. Ended up with our 4 stripers and some nice blues.

That was only about 1/4 the size of the entire school. They were surrounding my V. My daughter was casting a surface lure and catching on every cast. They were all around 14" stripers.

In New York it's 1 fish from 28 to 40" and the second fish has to be over 40" :)

Fish in the Chesapeake leave the bay when they reach about 26", then they return in the spring to spawn and soime years make a fall showing to feed for a few weeks. As far up the bay as Bobby is, they have 6 weeks a year with a shot at big fish...

Yeah after they reach 26" they come down here and bless us with thier presence. Its pretty rare to catch schoolies in the ocean down this way but there are some resident fish that are schoolie size in the sound and around the bridges. I've caught several ocean fish and only 1 or two that didn't make keeper size at 28".

And that, sir, is the reason for having an enclosure ;D

Yep, I'll agree with dat! Heck last winter the tuna bite was on strong off the outter banks of NC all winter but it worrys me to think about going 20 or 30 off with 40 - 50 degree water inshore.....however the stream was a warm 70 something :D Plus I don't have enough gear to put out a full tuna spread just yet :-/

Quick, somebody buy me six 50 wides!
