Saltwater Sunday is on ESPN2. Great feeshin shows from 7 - 9 am on Sunday mornings. Not enough ice to fish on and too much ice to break with the V this morning. The fish are out there, I just can't get at em today. So, I'll sit and watch them catch nice fish somewhere warm and enjoy my coffee.

Hammer, I know what ya mean to a point. I work in a different system, but I work almost every holiday for an event. I alos work more than 40 a good portion of the year. I had 2 months comp time built up after my first year here. When I wanted to take off February, well, we worked it all out. ;D

I went out of Rudee yesterday we marked fish and bait all day and NEVER had a hit. We heard there was one bite yesterday and they said it happened at the spot we were at but we nver saw any boat hook up, I think someone was putting out bad info.

There must have been over 100 boats yesterday and no ne we saw hooked up.

We fishing from 6:30 am (COLD) until dark and never got a hit.

Garage, unfortunately, I believe that we may be done in legal waters for awhile. It's just too cold. If you get out about 7 miles it's still around 44*

I talked to a couple of my friends who are charter captn's out of Oregon inlet yesterday and they said the same thing happened to them, Plenty bait, fish but no bites. But friday everyone hooked up and caught plenty fish.

Well I think I'm going out in my wetlands with my weedeater with the blade and thin out so it doesn't get too over grown this summer. I did the port side of the pier last weekend and I'll do the stbd today and be finished. Outside temp 39 dg.

We've run into the plenty of birds, bait, and fish being marked, but no bites more often than not this season. :-/ Unfortuantly the boat I've been going out on had a few problems when we came back in after I caught the "big'n" so it looks like our season is over. :'( If it weren't for that I'd be out trying to make my mojo work today too!!! One day my V will be seaworthy and I get my mojo back....... ;D ;D ;D
