Willy, Reel, and Franco's reports from camp Pubah remind me of the trip to Baja I took with a couple of buddies last October. We created a website for the trip and updated it as we went. I thought the site had been taken down but NO... so I feel compelled to share it once again. Best parts are the "Daily Log" and Photo sections. The photo section seems to take a couple of clicks to advance to the next picture.

Hey Tuna,
No pics of the fish you caught? I couldn't find any. Looks like you had a good time though...

Click on "Photo Gallery" to see the pics. There are some arrows to the right and left of the row of photos that let you scroll through them. Click on a photo and it'll enlarge.

Tuna, got it... I guess the page didn't refresh quick enough, so it looked as though there were only the first four or so pics.
Thanks for sharing...

Randleman, I have a fish ID book for the Sea of Cortez. I can't find that fish in there. Could be that it's a juvenile and will have a different appearance as an adult. On the other hand, it could be a new species... It's kinda pretty and it's Mexican... maybe I'll call it a J Lo or a Paz Vega.

No. *We didn't keep anything we caught surf fishing. *You'd get a bite withing seconds of your bait hitting the water but they were all real small. *Surf fishing was a great late afternoon pastime in 90+ degree weather with 3 of us wading in the Cortez and a line of empty Pacifico's and Corona's on the beach behind us.
I just noticed something... *In the picture of me petting the dog on the beach... *Looks like Pinto was REALLY happy.
