Huge USCG search going on for this underwater photographer. He launched his boat from the same place I hope to launch mine this weekend. The first link is a story in the local paper this morning. The second is to his website and photos.

Hold on Hammer, they think he has a pretty good chance of survival.

He sure has taken some fantastic photos.

This was posted on a local board (Bay Area Tuna Club discussions) this AM:

"My friend Charlie did a underwater seach off his anchor line testerday and found nobody. The good samaritan who spoke to him on the dock before departing is a fellow tuna fisherman/Diver from this board. He tried to
talk him out of going especially alone to the Cape. The search has been called off. Mark"

Say a prayer for the guy, what a shame.

Hammer, listen time to learn how to fish man, spend your days onboard. Snorkel when you go to clear water like Fla. but stay on board will ya, I don't want to read a post from Lewes some day you know.

Oh he'll still be ''divin'' alright...just not SCUBA ;D ...
