Dog is only one year old. As far as the pantyhose. It was cold out today walking to church. Gotta keep them thighs warm. ;D

You do realize that you could buy a new Stainless Marine bracket for what you spent on the the mutt. ;D I can't talk though because my wifey has a kitten and 2 black labs that cost me a hundred dollar bill if I even drive them by the vet and the vet sees the critters going by ;D ;D

Wish the Wifey would have come home with a simple gold fish. They are easier to flush down the toilet. LOL ;D

My mom and dad have 2 dogs and my sister has one. We do not have a dog yet, but have 2 cats. I just spent $350 on one cat that almost died 2 weeks ago. :-/

Here are some pix of the dogs. The nice thing is we all live next door to each other so my kids get to see the dogs whenever they want.

These pix were taken at the beach over the weekend (yes they take them to the beach and pick up poop after them every day YUCK! - at least my cats cover theirs up ;D)

We have a really great vet here. Unbelievably low prices. My cat was in there for 2 weeks SOLID, that's 14 days, with IV's, shots, and force feeding cause he wouldn't eat or drink the whole time. Literally near death for his 10 year old ***.

Anyway, you would have thunk it would have cost over $1000, but I got out lucky for $350.

We even boarded him there while we went to the beach for $7 a day. Heck for that price we can just leave him there and visit occasionally!

;D

Gotta agree MJ. In my domain it is survival of the fittest.

At one point last summer, I had 15 cats running around outside.
They got some type of sickness that ran rampant through the pack.
I am now down to 5 but two are pregnant, dam it.

By the time I have searched and investigated the breeding, food and meds and all types of miscellaneous crap, the literally hundreds and hundreds of hours I invest in training my hunting dogs they are a very large investment. They also obviously are my hunting buddies and part of the family. Now I got stuck twice for emergency surgeries for two different dogs that cost me about 2500 when it was done for both. But if it was going to be more than that I would not do it.
My neighbor is going thru cancer/tumor treatments (radiation) and other meds plus multiple surgeries for her dog. Twelve grand so far. I'm sorry unless that dog has semen worth thousands a squirt that is just absurd. Even if I had the money would not do it
