I'm not sure but there's water falling out the sky.
If it's rain then it's the third time this year we've seen it.
Hope ya'll get some if that's what it is.

Started raining here around 6:30 AM, and has been raining steady, sometimes hard, all day. Man, we needed it sooo bad, and I've caught myself just staring at it several times! Went over to West Marine and bought a new fuel primer ball, got soaked between the truck and the front door! Winds are picking up, too! :o May have to drive up to the marina and check on the ol' PD in a while. ;)

I went up to check on the PD and am very glad I did. The bilge pump's automatic float switch was stuck in ON, and the pump had been running for how long I don't know. Good news is it hadn't run down the batteries too much, and I cranked her up and charged batteries for a while.

Wind was really blowing hard, raining almost horizontally, and it was very squally. Pic doesn't do it justice

but it's the best I could do and keep the lens dry. Check out those flags. I'm back snug in the house now, watching the trees blow. Hope everybody is safe!

Was a perfect day here today!! 81* was the high with light winds!
67* right now and the wind is a tiny bit gusty, But they say its going to be a bit different tomorrow at this time with that system coming, say up to 3" rain.

O well was good while it lasted!!

Been a nice steady rain since around 10 pm last night for us in central NC. *We really needed it, we accumulated a whopping 1/2" of rain for all of May, we usually get around 4" in May.

Problem is, now the grass is gonna start growing again and cut into my boat/fishing/goofing off time.

Well finally got cable back on after being off almost 24hrs. My brother about 40 miles west of us got over 4 inches in 12 hours. According to NWS we only got about 2 1/2 inches. I think Bradford is more realistic of the rainfall here. That was (still is) much needed rain.

I wound up with 4 1/4 inches total at my house and a bunch of downed limbs/debris in the yard. go figure I just cleaned everything up on thursday!! >:( >:( >:(

Really I don't mind, we really did need the rain, hopefully it put out those fires down south.

I check on her a lot, especially when we have storms. Like you, I spent a good part of yesterday cleaning up debris in the yard -- we have live oaks, water oaks, pines and gum trees, and they all dropped a lot of *)^&#@! in the storm. But I also spent some time at the marina -- it was beautiful, sunny and windy!
