Well guys I finally got the first launch under my belt. The V-20 is amazing and we had fun fishing until the fog rolled in. We got to fish about three hours and then it was no visibility and got quite scarry. The fog came in so very fast and within minutes you could not see 5 feet in front of you it seemed. I have no GPS and thank God I took a compass reading when we left the dock/launch area. I was never so frightened since I was a kid! My two buddies and I were at wits end trying to find the channel between the two breakwaters. We finally (after about one and a half hours) found the breakwaters and made our way back into the dock/launch area. We all were never so happy to see land and everyone who was coming in was saying the same thing. I will be purchasing a GPS unit very soon!
Anyway I was only able to take a few pictures of our first trip.

Good going, glad to hear it.
You can also replace the cuda with a cuda that has gps capability.
I wouldn't depend on one gps.

MJ,
That trip was out of Point Judith Rhode Island. The lighthouse is off of the West Wall of PJ. The fancy houses are some rich a$$ folks who must have billions!
The seats I bought at WalMart and made up the Boxes. They worked out great and they store nicely in the cuddy when traveling. I also made a "schmoo board" (bait cutting board) that simply attaches to the top gunnel. I drilled about 5 holes in it so the schmoo is able to drain thru off the boat. We use squid for bait and the darn ink can make such a mess. I will take some pics of the schmoo board so you can get the idea, but it does work sweet and sure keeps the boat cleaner.
Thanks again guys for your valuable insight on the GPS units. ;)
