MJ last time I went fishing for halibut in Alaska I ended up with 180 pounds of it in my freezer. Baked, steamed, fried, grilled, boiled and smoked. Halibut salad, halibut sandwiches, fish stew... I was so sick and tired of halibut that I'd try anything to make it different. Even my friends were tired of eating halibut.

I hear ya. Thats was a couple of years ago and I'm missing it again myself.
This was one of the more interesting recipe's:
Cut the halibut into 1" cubes and boil them for a few minutes in lightly sugared water. Dip the cubes in melted butter as you eat em. It was called "Poor Man's Lobster"
It tasted absolutely nothing like lobster but still interesting. (Of course I'd say that about nearly anything that gets dipped in butter ;D)
