be a real man, throw the directions away, they're mearlly the opinion of the manufacture, by the time your thru, it will double as a boat lift for doing trailer work or lifting engines

Agree with everybody. Poor bastage.
Sean beer is plural and singular. DON'T SAY BEERS
THERE AIN'T NO GRIT IN GRITS, IT'S ALL PLURAL,YOU CAN'T FIND ONE GRIT.
It's like fish, their singular and plural. Fishes is what you do or addressing it's anatomy.
Sorry please forgive me I gotta find something to shoot or catch on a pole. ;D

Is that thing huricane proof? I'd suggested to the wife the safest thing to do would be take it back, for the kids safety that is.
I'm sorry tsubaki, it will not happen again :-[
Ahh, who am I kidding,

Your weekend is shot? Try week.
We put one up almost identical to that one at our church, we had about 7 or 8 guys working on it and it still took 2 days to build.
Good luck SH.

Well boys when I got home Friday afternoon I worked for about 3 hours. I had 4 boards bolted together when the "structure" fell over and I was ready to give up. :-/
About then I slung the air ratchet across the yard and probably said something profane. :-X
Then Lana walks over and picks up some miscellaneous board that is far from the next step and says "hea, daddy :-* "
:P

My will to quit was extinguished by that little girl and I said "self even if it kills you this mofo has gotta go up" :o
Here are a few pics....

The instruction book has 99 steps and I dont have a picture of all the fasteners, but I guarantee you they would FILL a 5 gallon bucket. :o
Me in the rain Saturday.

The wife felt bad for me (YES!) and came out and set up an umbrella. ::)
This really helped (since I wasn't soaked to the bone anyways) ::)
I worked ALL weekend with the help of my dad and a buddy on Saturday. Dad and I finished her up just after dark last night. 8)
I took a couple finished pics before work.

All in all it wasn't that bad....aww who am I kidding IT SUCKED!!! ;D
The instructions were very well written and all the wood was top notch cedar with excellent milling so everything went together well. We only had to trim about 3 boards out of 300. 8)
The most important step is that I got some MAJOR deposits into the wife's honey do account. I have a full pass this weekend and I'm off Thursday and Friday because we are getting the beach house ant the island. Sweet! 8)
It helped a whole lot that every time she walked outside to check progress I would wipe the sweat from my brow and bend over in exhaustion while mumbling something about dying too young. ;D ;)

Now that is a work of art!
Looking at that pile of sticks I know that...
1 - I'd have parts left over or
2 - not enough parts to finish the job and
3 - it would not look anything like the picture on the box!
My hat is off to you.
(wait 'til you start paying for college, that will REALLY kill ya'!)

i knew you could do it. never had a doubt! so, how many left over parts?
and not that it matters but, if you look at the first picture you posted, you got the ladder and the slide misplaced.
the good news is that now that you have done one, the next one will be easier. i think Wyatt will be big enough by next summer, lol.
