Well guys, it's been a while since I've been here much, a couple of you have a little insight (Willy & Reel) so I thought I would share with my brother Norton Snaggers:
Well my job had become a real paing in the A$$ the last six months, my income got considerably smaller and my work load kept getting bigger and bigger. I hung in there and gave it a valiant effort but I finalyy had enough.
TODAY I QUIT MY JOB.
Ballsy move as I haven't lined up another one yet, but I have skills and should be okay.
Keep A good thought for me fellas!

Congrats Franco. How did that go down at work? Was it one of those "Take this job and shove it" moments or something more organized?

Good luck my friend, I know it was a tough decision for you and Robin and a long time coming. In the end it will work out because no matter what you got each other and you got friends.
Let me know if there is going to be any extended fishing time coming, you know I am still looking for work too. Maybe that bait shop is looking better ::)

Thanks guys, glad to know your here for me!
Willy, I'm gonna settle down a few days and be back at ya!
CTT, I was real civilized, you'd be proud. I was cool, calm and collected. I had a meeting scheduled with one of the owners to go over some planning, I went to the meeting and stopped him before it got started and told him I was leaving. His jaw kinda dropped and he and his dad, the other owner and other folks were scrambling all day.
Any way, I'm gonna remove hundreds of pages of work, policies, manuals etc that I have developed over the last 3 years for my job. They'll get their computer back in pristine condition in a few days. Cleared of all my hard work! The next guy can figure it all out
Plus I am staying on till the 31st to make sure they don't screw me out my commision! So next week I'll be networking on their nickle looking for a job!

Best of luck to you Franco. Sometimes ya just gotta take the bull by the horns to find out it's for the best. And so long as the Admiral is backing your decision, you'll do fine. Plus, ya got us for moral support. ;)

Franco, good luck to you in finding a new job. I'd hire you in a miniute (if I had a business that is) ::)
I might be in these same shoes as you in a month or two as our company is outsourcing the he11 out of our jobs as we speak. I don't really know how much more time I've got - could be 2 months, or it could be 18 months but its most likely coming.
Hang in there buddy and keep on doing your thing. Something will come along in no time. ;)
